Dear friends, guests and companions of the Rebstockbad!
A special era has come to an end. On Friday, April 30, 2021, we met in a small group with our employees, Managing Director Dr. Boris Zielinski, works council chairman Armin Vessali, pool manager Harald Kümbel, city councilor Markus Frank, supervisory board members of the BBF, swimming legend Michael Groß and other friends and close companions, such as the club representatives of the SGF, Heinz Stöcklin and Michael Ulmer, said goodbye to our largest Frankfurt adventure pool Rebstockbad.
This farewell was particularly important for our dedicated Rebstockbad team, to say THANK YOU one last time in a worthy setting! We thank our team for 39 years of unforgettable experiences, the most beautiful moments and emotions for generations of bathers. During this time, more than 22 million guests have visited the Rebstockbad. Many little swimmers have practiced their first strokes here and competitive swimmers have trained for their competitions. Olympic champion Michael Groß was present at the inauguration ceremony in 1982 and now our very special guest again to say goodbye to the Rebstockbad! One last time we moved the water with the wave machine with Michael Groß and our advocate at the political level, City Councilor Markus Frank.
We would also like to thank everyone who attended and made this farewell party so special! Of course, it was particularly sad that we couldn't celebrate this last day together with our small and large guests. We would have loved to inspire you one last time with our animation team! Unfortunately, Corona got in the way.
We are all the more looking forward to a great joint housewarming party in 2025 in the new Rebstockbad! In a top modern new adventure pool and many new highlights. Until then, we welcome you to the other Frankfurt pools as soon as it is allowed again.
