Dear bathing friends,
bathing time now stands still in the old Rebstockbad.
At the end of April, our well-deserved team said goodbye to "their bathroom" and packed up their last personal belongings. After the joint farewell party with lots of personal emotions and conversations, our colleagues took over their duties in the other Frankfurt pools as planned and with their commitment made the start of the 2021 outdoor pool season possible in all Frankfurt outdoor pools.
In the meantime, the water has been drained from the pools of the old Rebstockbad and craftsmen have now taken over the direction. The interior of the bathing facility was gradually dismantled and distributed to the other baths in Frankfurt or disposed of immediately. The cherished extensive area, as it has known over 22 million guests in almost 40 bathing years, has turned into a large construction site. The picture gallery shows impressive impressions of the new atmosphere. The Rebstockbad has not been accessible to the public since it was closed. A small core team on site accompanies the dismantling work.
